Best padel rackets in the UK, by type of player

10 rackets · prices checked 5 October 2026

There isn't a best padel racket. There is a racket that suits a beginner, one that suits somebody who wants to hit the ball very hard, one for a sore elbow, and so on, and they are different rackets. Anybody who tells you a single model is the best one is usually selling it.

So this list is one pick per type of player. Each comes from one of our longer lists, and the label on it says which, so if a pick is close to what you want you can see the alternatives.

If you aren't sure which type you are, answer five questions and we will narrow it down.

How this list is made

What gets in: The first pick from each of our lists by type of player.

The order: by type of player, not by rank. We have not play-tested these rackets, so “best” here means best fit on the brand’s published specs at today’s price, and nothing more. No brand or shop pays to be included. We may earn a commission if you buy through a shop link, and where two rackets tie, one we can earn on goes first. How we work.
