Best padel rackets under £150
8 rackets · prices checked 5 October 2026
Somewhere between £100 and £150 is where padel rackets stop being starter rackets. You begin to get carbon in the face, cores with a bit more to them, and the lower rungs of the ranges the professionals use.
It is also, I think, where most club players should stop. Above this you are paying for stiffer materials that reward a fast, clean swing, and for the name of the player on the frame. If you play twice a week and mostly want to stop losing to the same four people, this is your bracket.
Rackets under £100 are on their own list, so everything here costs more than that.
What gets in: Between £100 and £150 delivered today, and pitched at intermediate players or above.
The order: how many UK shops stock it, then how well it fits the list, then price. We have not play-tested these rackets, so “best” here means best fit on the brand’s published specs at today’s price, and nothing more. No brand or shop pays to be included. We may earn a commission if you buy through a shop link, and where two rackets tie, one we can earn on goes first. How we work.

Stuck between two of them?
Core, face, balance, thickness, surface. What each number means and which ones you can safely ignore.
