Which one suits you

Pick the Maxx Flow Gen 2 if

You want to spend less: it is £50 cheaper delivered today (£172.50 against £222).
You want more control and a bigger sweet spot: a round head is more forgiving on off-centre hits.
You want it quicker in the hand and easier on the arm: the weight sits lower.
You already hit the ball cleanly: the brand pitches it at strong competitive players.

Pick the Maxx Hype Gen 2 if

You want more power: a diamond head puts the sweet spot higher, which helps smashes and volleys.
You want more weight behind the ball: the balance is higher, towards the head.
You want the more forgiving of the two: the brand pitches it at advanced players, so it asks less of your technique.

Not a factor, because they are the same on both: feel (both hard), weight.
