Which one suits you

Pick the Speed One X if

  • You want it quicker in the hand and easier on the arm: the weight sits lower.
  • You want the more forgiving of the two: the brand pitches it at advanced players, so it asks less of your technique.
  • You hit with a lot of spin: the face is textured to grip the ball.

Pick the Speed Pro if

  • You want more weight behind the ball: the balance is higher, towards the head.
  • You already hit the ball cleanly: the brand pitches it at strong competitive players.

Not a factor, because they are the same on both: price (within a few pounds today), shape (both teardrop), feel (both medium), weight.
