Pick the Ionic Control if

You want more control and a bigger sweet spot: a round head is more forgiving on off-centre hits.
You want it quicker in the hand and easier on the arm: the weight sits lower.

Pick the Ionic Power if

You want more power: a diamond head puts the sweet spot higher, which helps smashes and volleys.
You want more weight behind the ball: the balance is higher, towards the head.
